Meet Sarah
Sarah has been helping moms and babies for over 15 years, first as a Certified Lactation Counselor working for the USDA WIC program, then as an Interational Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) working with new moms and babies in the hospital and birthing center setting. As a Masters in Public Health Graduate, Sarah places a strong emphasis on providing evidence-based support in a compassionate and non-judgemental way, while supporting the family holistically. As a mom of two breastfed children, she is well acquainted with the many struggles and challenges that can occur when trying to meet breastfeeding goals, such as lip ties, low milk supply, latch issues, food allergies, sleep deprivation and postpartum anxiety. Despite all these challenges, Sarah fought to meet her breastfeeding goals, and she would love to support you as you work to meet yours!

Whole family lactation consulting offers in-home and virtual prenatal and postpartum lactation consults. As evidence proves, the more support a woman has in her breastfeeding journey, the easier the journey becomes. So, Whole Family Lactation encourages just that, WHOLE family consulting. Partners, grandparents, aunts, and children are all welcome to attend consults, as their knowledge and daily support will help guide and encourage the breastfeeding parent through the ups and downs of infant feeding and care. Every single breastfeeding journey comes with joys and frustrations, and we are here to support you through both, offering compassionate and evidence based information and guidance.

"The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new." Osho
